Hamed Omidvar, Ph.D.
Co-Founder & Managing Member 

Dr. Omidvar is an enthusiastic research scientist and entrepreneur who obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2021 from the University of California San Diego (UCSD) where he became a Shannon Graduate Fellow in 2017 and was a UCSD Electrical and Computer Engineering Research Fellow during 2014 and 2015. His interests extend to multiple disciplines ranging from the analysis of large scale stochastic dynamical systems to artificial intelligence (AI) and optimal decision making mechanisms. He is currently serving as a managing member of INTELLERCE LLC and was the principal investigator of the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project AptStream – an AI-based video streaming platform.

Vahideh Akhlaghi, Ph.D.
Co-Founder & Managing Member

Dr. Akhlaghi is a passionate research scientist with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California San Diego (UCSD). Her research interests extend to multiple disciplines including research on optimizing ubiquitous technologies leveraging Machine Learning and AI algorithms as well as optimizing implementation of these algorithms on edge devices.
She has obtained her extensive research background in these areas through her research especially as a graduate research scientist at UCSD and as an intern at Microsoft Research. She is currently serving as a managing member of INTELLERCE LLC and was the co-investigator of the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project — AptStream.
